Based on the Sunshine Coast, Soulchase is known for its powerful Holy Spirit inspired big chorus lyrics, catchy melody hooks and bold sound.

The band formed around lead singer/songwriter Nick Reeve who wrote many of the original songs. Sean Taylor (original bass player for Newsboys), Steve Jones (drummer) and Lorissa Reeve (piano soloist, backing vocals and songwriter) came into the mix with others along the way, working together to create a unique sound and a bold declaration of God's amazing grace and goodness.

The concept behind the name Soulchase is the adventure of chasing souls for God's kingdom. Individually, we can allow the breath of God blow away the dust of life in the rough places of our hearts. We can also chase after the lover of our soul Jesus and have a soul connection with him. As we keep our eyes fixed on him and on his love for us that he expressed toward us on the cross, our souls can be refreshed and renewed in the power of his Holy Spirit. 

 

Soulchase is excited about chasing down the possibilities yet to come. Last year 2023 we signed with a record label 'Grace Records'. Our hit song, Hallelujah, Amen hit the top 20 in the christian music charts across the U.S last month.
